Founded in Toronto, Canada in 2000, with the philosophy of providing genuine Japanese food and hospitality, we have continued to contribute to the development of the Japanese restaurant industry while continuing to stick to Japanese ingredients.
In 2019, after many years of planning and research, we opened our second store, Zen Sanuki Udon. We have achieved peak flavour by taking the time and effort to make homemade noodles. Our noodles are made from wheat from Sanuki City, Japan and Udon soup stock is made from natural ingredients. We continue to put our efforts in product development and localization of menu composition.
In 2021, Zen Japan Group was formed. Our mission statement is to protect the tradition of Japanese food so that the customers in Toronto can accurately convey the splendor of Japanese food culture, techniques, and ingredients through the world view of Japanese food.
At the same time, we will promote new challenges while responding to changes in the times, aiming for organizational management, and human resource development to improve the sustainability of our business.
